Tis' the Season for Concerts, Showcases and Recitals

The week before Christmas has been a busy one.  Sofi has had a gymnastics showcase, Christmas Concert and a ballet recital.  They all went really well and were just adorable.  Here are some highlights:

CHRISTMAS CONCERT

Scarlett wanted to be part of the show even though she was too young to participate.  She kept climbing up on the stage with no thought to the hundreds of people in the audience (standing room only).  She's not shy.

Sof's class sang "Up on the Rooftop"

Every time she saw me lift my camera to take her picture she ducked down into her present to hide her face.  At one point, she yelled at me to stop and said "no pictures!"  Wow.

Scarlett made herself comfortable sitting in Ms. Abbey's lap.

"Mom!  No pictures!"

"We wish you a Merry Christmas!"...Sofi went solo. :)  She was feeling it.

BALLET RECITAL

Sofi did really well in her ballet recital.  Except for when she stopped in the middle of her dance and said "Mom! I have boogers in my nose!" Yep.  I had to yell back at her "OK hon, we'll get them after you're done."  Jason says she's just keeping it real.  That got a good laugh. :)

Visit From G-Paw

This was a while back, but since I'm just trying to catch up, not everything is in order, but close enough.  G-Paw came in from Saudi for a quick visit back in October, and the girls just ate it up.  They love their G-Unit. :)  I didn't get many pictures, but here's a few.  

We love you G-Paw...can't wait for you to get home.
